Deborah Lynn Meyer

Deborah Lynn Meyer, 57 of Nashville passed away at 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1st at Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville.  She was born on January 19, 1955 in St. Louis, the daughter of Harold and Anna Wiesler Meyer.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother; Craig.  Left to mourn her passing is a son; Shawn Meyer and fiance' Crystal Price of Nashville.  3 brothers; Gary Meyer of Edwardsville, Harold Meyer, Jr. of Salem and Rev. Michael Meyer of Mt. Erie,  Il., 2 sisters; Patricia Pridemore of Beckemeyer and Sharon Jokish of Kimmswick, MO.  4 grandchildren; Cullen, Bryan, Angel and Arryanna and a step grandchild; Katlynn Hertweck.

Miss Meyer was a graduate of Mater Dei High School in Breese and a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese.  She was a former cook and nurses aid and enjoyed playing bingo.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date in Edwardsville.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.

Robert Louis Cover

Robert Louis Cover, age 89, of  Centralia, Illinois,  passed away at 9:20 P.M. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Centralia Manor in Centralia, Illinois.  He was born September 23, 1922 in Centralia, Illinois , son of Robert H. and Bess (Fike) Cover.  He married Edna Ruth Cobb on September 25, 1945 at the First United Methodist Church in Centralia, Illinois and she survives in Centralia, Illinois.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Cover is survived by one daughter, Judith (Cover) Kulb and her husband, Steven, of Evanston, Illinois, a sister, Mary Lou Schnake, of South Carolina, a sister-in-law, Helen Fish, of Waukee, Iowa, two grandchildren, Laura Kulb and Jennifer Kulb of Evanston, Illinois, and special niece, Peggy Rasch, of Cherokee, Iowa.                                                                                                   

Mr. Cover was preceded in death by his parents, his wife's parents, Edward and Maude Cobb, two sisters and their husbands, Francis and Robert Carvell, Ada and Lloyd Higgerson, brothers-in-law Kurvin Fish and Richard Schnake, and special aunt, Ruby Fike.

Mr. Cover was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Centralia, Illinois.  He served  as a leader of the church's Explorer Scout Troop and led them on several canoe trips to the Canadian Wilderness, a hiking trip through the Smokey Mountains, and participated in many other community related activities with the scouts as their scoutmaster.

Mr. Cover was a founding member of the Centralia Cultural Society where he directed many plays and musicals over the years.  The Performance Hall of the Cultural Building is named in his honor.
He worked for forty three years for the Illinois Central Railroad.

During World war II, he served with the First Marine Division for three years, two of which were in the South Pacific.  

In addition, he is a member of the Centralia Masonic Lodge and V.F.W. Post # 2055 in Centralia, Illinois.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. On Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Centralia, Illinois with Reverend Rusty Beals officiating.  Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park near Centralia, Illinois with military honors accorded by the Centralia V.F.W. Post # 2055 and American Legion Post # 446. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Styninger Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.  Memorials may be made in Mr. Cover's honor to the First United Methodist Church or the Centralia Cultural Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Dale Hassell

Dale Hassell, 85 of Hoyleton, passed away at 4:16 a.m. on Monday , January 30th at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.  He was born on May 12, 1926 in Ellington, Missouri, the son of Henry and Gertie Ellen Carver Hassell.  He married Thretta Martin on January 17, 1944 in St. Louis and she survives in Hoyleton.  Also surviving are 2 sons; Douglas Dale (Elaine) Hassell and Tom (Ann) Hassell both of Hoyleton.  A daughter; Paulette (Marion) Leonberger of Sarasota, Fl., 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.  A sister; Jean Thomas of Centralia, 2 brother in laws; Floyd Shoemaker of Huegley and Paul (Betty) Martin of Anchorage, AK, 2 sister in laws; Doris Siebe of Nashville, TN. and Catherine Martin of Carlyle.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, a half brother, 2 half sisters and a great great grandchild.

Mr. Hassell was the former owner/operator of Hassell Hardwood Lumber Company in Huegley.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton and a life member of the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.  He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton with Rev. Joshua Theilen officiating.  Burial will follow in the Zion UCC Cemetery in Hoyleton.  Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to his church.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.

Walter C. Kottmeyer

Walter C. Kottmeyer, 92 formerly of Hoyleton, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 29th at Helia Health Care Center in Greenville.  He was born on September 15, 1919 in New Minden, the son of Charles and Mary Collmeyer Kottmeyer.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother; Arthur (Elda) Kottmeyer and 2 sisters; Esther Kottmeyer and Lorna (Harold) Neusche.  Left to mourn his passing are 2 nephews; Wayne (Margaret) Kottmeyer of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and Roger Kottmeyer of Shattuc.  2 nieces; Shirley (Dale) Campbell and Elaine (Doug) Hassell both of Hoyleton along with several great and great great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Mr. Kottmeyer farmed in the New Minden area most of his life.  He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in New Minden where he held various offices.  He was also a member of the Washington County Farm Bureau and the Hoyleton Lions club.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 2nd at St. John Lutheran Church in New Minden with Rev. Timothy Mueller officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Friends may call one hour prior to services.  Memorial contributions may be made to his church.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.

Calvin Eugene Harvey

Calvin Eugene Harvey, 51 of Nashville, passed away at 12:33 a.m. on Thursday, January 19th at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon.  He was born on June 13, 1960 in Benton, the son of John D. and Naomi R. Curry Harvey.  He married Dellann "Dee" Kelley on November 1, 1981 in Thompsonville, Il. and she survives in Nashville.  Also surviving are his parents; Rev. Naomi (Richard) Edmonds of Nashville and John D. (Mary Ann) Harvey of Sesser, step mother; Ruth Johnston of West Frankfort .  His maternal grandmother; Geneva Curry Baney of West Frankfort.  2 sons; Dale Harvey and Dustin Johnston both of Nashville.  3 daughters; Barbara (Casey) King of Wake Forest, NC., Amanda (Chris) Kelly and Teneva (Byron) Johnson both of Nashville.  9 grandchildren; Bradley, Adreanna, Xander, Jaden, Jordan, Byron, Jr., Zack, Gwyn and Zea.  4 brothers; Robin Johnston of Benton, James Johnston of Nashville, Dennis (Dawn) Johnston of Nashville and John Robert Harvey of Sesser.  3 sisters; Tanya (Greg) Watkins of Wake Forest, NC., Kathy Harvey of Mt. Vernon and Jamie Edmonds of Nashville.  A step brother; Chad (Lisa) Edmonds of Nashville.  2 step sisters; Debbie Galles and Laura (Jeff) Rombough both of Nashville.  Along with several nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his step father; Dale Johnston.

Mr. Harvey was a truck driver having worked for Dave Dickerson.  He attended the Nashville Assembly of God church.  He enjoyed wood working, making knives, camping, fishing, teaching his boys how to repair cars and spending time with his family, especially going to the zoo.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21st at the Assembly of God church in Nashville with Rev's. Scott and Syd Osenbaugh officiating.  Cremation rites will be accorded.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.

Yonia V. McClain

Yonia V. McClain, 90 of New Athens formerly of St. Libory, passed away at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, January 7th at the New Athens Home for the Aged.  She was born on January 25, 1921 in Clarmin, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Nancy Jane Hodge Keller.  She married George Albert McClain on June 10, 1939 in Kirkwood, Missouri and he passed away on June 29, 1991.  Also preceding her in death were 2 daughters; Betty Annabell McClain and Carol Jean Stevens.  3 brothers; James, Ed and Freeman Keller and 3 sisters; Leona Ruth McGough, Galena Lehr and Stella Ortlepp.  She is survived by a daughter; Stella Marie (Vernon) Pranger of St. Libory, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Yonia loved her Lord.  She was a long time member of the Nashville Assembly of God church where she formerly taught Sunday School and drove the church bus.   She was a cook at Hawn's Cafe, the Jet Cafe and Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville and later at Little People's Prep School in Decatur, Illinois.  She was a member of the Marissa Senior Citizens and enjoyed sewing, crafts, ceramics and cooking for family and friends.

A private interment was held at Beaucoup Cemetery in rural Nashville.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14th at the Assembly of God church in Nashville with Rev.'s Scott and Syd Osenbaugh and Robert Mathes officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Family Hospice of Belleville or the New Athens Home.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.

Venita Loyd

Venita Loyd, age 94, of Centralia, Illinois, formerly of  Walnut Hill, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Centralia Manors in Centralia, Illinois.  She was  born August 28, 1917, in Wayne County, Illinois, daughter of Cloyd and Buena (Duckworth) Talbert.  She married Arthur Glen Loyd on October 19, 1935 in Campground and he preceded her in death in 1998.

Mrs. Loyd is survived by 1 son Larry Loyd and wife Nedra (Sis) of Centralia, Illinois, 1 daughter Nancy Woodard and husband Royal of Dix, Illinois, 5 grandchildren Sean Loyd and wife Angie, Kyle Loyd, Jami Loyd Manning and husband Jason, Mary Ann Perveiler and husband John and Jason Woodard and wife Jill, 2 step grandchildren Cody Reider and Courtney Reider, 5 great grandchildren, 1 sister Marjorie Braddock and husband Kermit of Cisne, Illinois, 1 sister-in-law Elzora Keen of Wayne City, Illinois and special friend Freida Phillips of Walnut Hill, Illinois.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Loyd was preceded in death by her parents, son Airman First Class Billy Gene Loyd, 2 brothers Robert Talbert and Dwight Talbert and 1 sister Minnie Crask.

Mrs. Loyd was an active member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years.  She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Gilead United Methodist Church's quilting group. As told by her family, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed the time she spent with her family.  She and her husband made their home near Walnut Hill, Illinois for over 60 years.

Mrs. Loyd retired from the Hollywood Brand Candy Company in Centralia, Illinois.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Styninger Queen~Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois with Reverend Merle Fullerton and Chaplain Eric Williams  officiating.  Interment will follow in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, Illinois.  Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Styninger Queen~Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois and from 12 noon until the time of services at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the funeral home.  Memorial Contributions may be made in Mrs. Loyd's honor to the St. Jude Children's Hospital and will be received at the funeral home.

Henry F. Brinkmann

Henry F. Brinkmann was born and baptized into the Christian faith on November 29, 1917, son of Edward and Lydia (Ellerbusch) Brinkmann of New Minden, IL.  He married Erna F. Knolhoff on May 5th, 1946 in Hoffman, IL.  Their union was blessed with six children:  Betty (& Ken) Liescheidt of Ballwin, MO, Daniel (& Darleen) Brinkmann of Hoyleton, David (& Gail) Brinkmann of Vandalia, Lois (& Harry) Nicol of Buffalo Grove, Tim Brinkmann of New Minden, and Michele (& Paul) Brown of Shiloh.

Henry treasured his family which included 17 grandchildren: Tim (& Tera) Liescheidt, Alison (& Dan) Hawkins, Kara (& Ryan) Paul, Barb Brinkmann, Angie (& Mike) Wells, Adrienne (& Erik) Rolf, Stephanie (& Brian) Pasero, Andrew (& Michelle) Brinkmann, Thomas (& Jaime) Brinkmann, Joel (& Rebecca) Brinkmann, Kyle Brinkmann, Matt (& Cortney) Nicol, Mark Nicol, Taylor, Jordan, and Christian Brown; and twenty-two great-grandchildren: Isaac & Abigail Liescheidt, Noah, Annemarie, Elaina, Josiah, Lila, and Benjamin Hawkins, Lauren Darmody, Elise & Lily Paul, Hope Brinkmann, Mackenzie & Max Wells, Collin Rolf, Leslie & Kamryn Michael, Dylan & Lane Brinkmann, Gabriel Brinkmann, Elijah Brinkmann, and Aspen Nicol.  He is also survived by his sister Lauretta Weihe.

Henry was preceded in death by his grandson, Jonathan Brinkmann, a daughter-in-law, Gloria Brinkmann, and a sister, Olga Haake.

Henry was a life-long member of St. John's Lutheran Church, New Minden, IL.  He had a quiet, gentle, and generous nature yet strong in spirit and conviction. He faithfully served his church, his family, and his community.  While he will be dearly missed, his eternity was secured by the risen Savior and we look forward to our heavenly reunion.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to Concordia Seminary - Jonathan D. Brinkmann Scholarship, Christ Out Rock Lutheran High School, or St. John's Lutheran Church.

Friends may call from 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 3rd at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville and one hour prior to services as St. John's Lutheran Church.  The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 4th at St. John's.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with the sure and certain hope of the resurrection to eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lillie Caroline Emma Ohlemeyer

Lillie Caroline Emma Ohlemeyer, age 87, of Centralia, Illinois, formerly of  Irvington, Illinois, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011 at her son and daughter-in-law's home in Columbia, Missouri.  She born February 19, 1924 in Irvington, Illinois, daughter of Louis and Lydia (Wiese) Aldag.  She married Virgil Ohlemeyer on May 9, 1948 at Friedens United Church of Christ Church in Irvington, Illinois and he preceded her in death in July 15, 1999.

Mrs. Ohlemeyer is survived by 1 son Larry Ohlemeyer and wife Kandy of Columbia, Missouri, 1 daughter Joyce Plummer of Litchfield, Illinois, 5 grandchildren Jennifer Ohlemeyer of Tampa, Florida, Heather Ohlemeyer of Centralia, Illinois, Shane Ohlemeyer of Centralia, Illinois, Jana Plummer of Litchfield, Illinois and Sarah Coleman and husband Nathan of Litchfield, Illinois,
4 great grandchildren Jakob, Alivia, Steve and Jaxson, 3 nephews Bud Aldag of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Charles Ohlemeyer and wife Pat of Maroa, Illinois and Chester Ohlemeyer of Maroa, Illinois, 1 niece Dorothy James of Hoyleton, Illinois, numerous grandnephews and nieces and
1 aunt of Mary Ohlemeyer of St. Charles, Missouri.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ohlemeyer was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Lydia Aldag, brother Louis Aldag, niece Verna Lou Bayer and son-in-law John Plummer.

Mrs. Ohlemeyer was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ in Centralia, Illinois.  She was also a member of the Friedens United Church of Christ in Irvington, Illinois where she was confirmed in 1937.  She also belonged to the Women's Guild and Bible Study Class at Friedens Church.  Mrs. Ohlemeyer was a member for many years of the Washingon County Farm Bureau and Irvington Extension Unit and was a member of the Senior Citizens and Women's Club in Irvington, Illinois.  She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Centralia, Illinois and a former member of the Happy Stitchers, Women for Agriculture, Washington County Extension Ag Council and the Agronomy Committee.

Mrs. Ohlemeyer was first employed at the age of 16 at the candy factory.  She was employed at Curtis Wright Corp in St. Louis, Missouri where she trained to make shells during World War II.  After the war, she went to work for the dress factory in Centralia, Illinois until 1952.  She then farmed with her husband south of Irvington for almost 50 years.  

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Styninger Queen~Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois with Dr. Reverend Philip W. Chapman officiating.  Interment will follow in Friedens Cemetery in Irvington, Illinois.  Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at the Styninger Queen~Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.  In lieu of flowers,  Memorial Contributions may be made in Mrs. Ohlemeyer's honor to the American Cancer Society at Peoples National Bank in Centralia, Illinois and will also be received at the funeral home.

Marie C. Gilbert

Marie Catherine Gilbert, 94 of Nashville passed away at 2:40 a.m. on Friday, December 16th at Washington County Hospital in Nashville.  She was born on April 30, 1917 in Nashville, the daughter of John A. and Mary E. Hoffman Gilbert.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Left to mourn her passing are 2 cousins; Samary Kekkas of Godfrey, Illinois and Sara Chase of Ames, Iowa and her dear friend and former neighbor Kay Cook of Nashville.

Marie was a 1934 graduate of Nashville High School and worked as a book keeper at Nierman Brothers Implement in Nashville for 50 years.  She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville where she taught Sunday School and was active in the Dorcas Circle.  She was a member of the Washington County Hospital Auxillary where she served as a "pink lady" and was a Meals on Wheels volunteer.  Marie was well known for her baking abilities, having won many prizes at the Washington County fair and delivering many plates of Christmas cookies to friends and family.  All of the children who came to her house to visit was aware of the special "toy area" she provided.  She was a loving and kind lady who will be missed by her many friends in the Nashville area.  

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 19th at St. Paul United Church of Christ with Rev.Sue Artt officiating.  Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.  A private interment will be held in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul UCC Cemetery.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.

Rilla Marie Ruble

Rilla Marie Ruble, age 88, of Springfield, Illinois, formerly of  Centralia, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at her home in Springfield, Illinois.  She was born July 12, 1923 in Centralia, Illinois, daughter of Lewis Arthur and Grace Marie (Marshall) Schilling.                                                     

Mrs. Ruble is survived by 1 daughter Pamela J. Adams of Tallahassee, Florida, 3 grandchildren Dawn Marie Sechrest and husband Chris of Atlanta, Georgia, Jason E. Adams and wife Christian of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Leslie J. Adams and husband Chris Roegner of Orlando, Florida and 4 great grandchildren Parker J. Sechrest, Paige E. Sechrest, Madison M. Adams and Miranda J. Adams.

Mrs. Ruble was preceded in death by her parents, sister Florence Schilling McClure and son-in-law Harold E. Adams.

Mrs. Ruble was of the Baptist faith.  In her younger years, she was the first runner up in the Miss Illinois Pageant.  She loved and doated on her daughter and grandchildren and kept photographs of them throughout her home.                 

Mrs. Ruble retired in 1995 as  a receptionist and file clerk for the State of Illinois Senior Program in Springfield, Illinois after 14 years of service.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia, Illinois with Reverend Quinton Runyon.  Those attending the services are asked to go directly to the cemetery on Wednesday.  There will be no public visitation.  Memorial Contributions may be made in Mrs. Ruble's honor to the First Baptist Church in Centralia, Illinois and will be received at the funeral home.

Hilda Anna Marie Gibson

Hilda Anna Marie Gibson, age 89, of Richview, Illinois, passed away at 12:45 P.M. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in the loving care of her family and caregivers after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease at the Carlyle Healthcare Center in Carlyle, Illinois. She was born on August 17, 1922 in Irvington Township, Illinois, the eleventh and last child born to William and Martha (Toedte) Riechman.  She married Verlin I. Gibson on August 3, 1940 in Saint Charles, Missouri and shared 59 years of marriage together until his passing on January 28, 1998.

Mrs. Gibson was survived by two sons Richard Gibson and wife Denise of Breese, Illinois and Bruce Gibson of Doniphan, Missouri, 3 daughters Charlotte Hartley of Centralia, Illinois, Carol Cox and husband Dwight of Tunnel Hill, Illinois and Karen Henss-Shackelford and husband Kevin Shackelford of Trenton, Illinois, 11 grandchildren Dayna Hartley and husband Rob Little of Centralia, Illinois, Greg Hartley of Kettering, Ohio, Mona Cox of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jacob Henss of Trenton, Illinois, Jordan Henss of Trenton, Illinois, twin granddaughters Caitlyn Gibson and Cayla Gibson of Breese, Illinois who were her caregivers at the Carlyle Healthcare Center, Daniel Gibson of Breese, Illinois, Sean Gibson and wife Kathy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Tanya McCall and husband James of Broadway, North Carolina and Brian Shackelford, 4 great grandchildren Aspen Gibson, Bailey Thomas and Hunter Gibson, all of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Austin Cox of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, former son-in-law Mark Henss who will sadly miss her, and sisters-in-law Phyllis Randal of Centralia, Illinois, Jean Gibson of Brandon, Mississippi and Mildred Riechman of Richview, Illinois.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Christina Gibson, son-in-law Ron Hartley, 7 brothers William, Henry, Louis, Chris, Wendell, Arthur and Walter, and 3 sisters Martha, Mary and Millie.

Mrs. Gibson was a member of Gilead United Methodist Church and was a member of the Gilead Ladies Aid Society.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and loved the time she spent with her family.  She loved to quilt and sew using a treadle sewing machine.  In one year, she pieced together 70 quilts.  Mrs. Gibson was an excellent cook and made delicious pies and homemade ice cream.  She loved animals.  She described herself as a stubborn, bull-headed German.  She collected salt and pepper shakers having owned over 200 pairs.  She had lived in the Richview area most of her life.

Mrs. Gibson worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, Illinois while her husband was in the service during World War II.  She returned to being a housewife and mother after his return from the service.  She and her husband operated the Irvington Cafe', known as the Long Branch to all of the locals, for 2 years.  Later in life, Mrs. Gibson was employed at St. Mary's Living Center in Irvington, Illinois and then at Warren G. Murray Developmental Center in Centralia, Illinois.  After she retired, she worked at Mary's Cafe in Richview, Illinois.

Graveside Services will held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Friedens United Church of Christ Cemetery in Irvington, Illinois with Pastor Mark Doane officiating.  Those friends attending the graveside services are asked to go directly to the cemetery on Monday. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Styninger Queen~Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Gibson's honor to the Gilead Ladies Aid Society or Mrs. Gibson's  daughter Karen's volunteer team " The Precious Moments Alzheimer's Team" who is raising money for the Alzheimer's Association 2012 Walk to end Alzheimer's Disease and will be received at the Styninger Queen~Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.
